Admiral have always been the cheapest when I get quotes, but there are very large differences between quotes directly from their website, and quotes through comparison sites, so you'll almost always have to phone them to get things cleared up. The actual figure is usually somewhere in between.

I've been doing all this recently, it takes a while. Especially when you want to compare several different cars.

It is quite enlightening though, I discovered that it would only cost me £200 more per year (not inc repairs) to run a Golf R32 vs a Renaultsport 197 :eek:

I also discovered that an RX8 R3 would cost £1000 more to run than a 350Z :eek:

No, that is pretty mental. I'm already thinking that I'm mental for considering 10 - 15K a year in a V6... Only 7000 of those are commuting miles though... And the roads to and from work are nice B roads... So I don't know...

Well in my defence I do have a Diesel Golf too - somewhere, not quite sure where I've left it.
