Looking for a new mouse

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I MUCH prefer my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 4.0 for gaming than my old Logitech MX510 -frankly, I was glad to see the back of it.
 
Has anyone one tried the G9 and it's crazy DPIness yet ? Looks very strange and uncomfy though.

And to contribute, i don't like my mx revolution at all. It's just uncomfy and clunky, just not my kind of mouse. Mouses i do like are the intellimouse 3 and the deathadder.

You CAN change the sensitivity on the fly, in fact you can change it to anything including custom dpi rather than restricting yourself to 3 settings.

Oh and @forb, G9 isnt out yet, expected sept.

I think you should go for either of these options, personally I didn't care for intellimouse that much, DA feels much sleeker, imo being a right hander you'd find it better after getting used to it, I don't care much for diamondback shape (its ambidextrous), find I have better control with the right hander styled mice. This is down to you though, if you know anyone with a diamondback, try it for shape and then decide :P
 
Well on whim ive just tried preordering the 3G direct from Razer, but although it lets me select UK from the list when it asks me to pick shipping method it says there are non to this country (UK) :(

Guessing we cant order direct then?

Was all set then, but after Plethoras post im wondering if I should be getting the Adder anyway :D

Ive also been looking at these photos..the adder looks pretty big compared to the krait..which im asuming is the same size/shaper as the 3G?

no one find the size a problem?

Odd, iirc every review I read said you can't. I'm talking about having dedicated button presses to do it in game. Like my MX518 has two buttons above and below the scroll wheel. I'm sure I read that with the deathadder you can only do it in windows in the software? And btw the MX518 can switch between 5 customisable levels if you install the s/w.

If you can on the DA I might still get one.
