Hey guys im building a new pc very soon and im after some suggestions pls its for gaming pretty much only. I am after everything monitor, pc, keyboard mouse and os ect in this spec as my son is having the pc in my sig.

I can go to about £3.500 on this build.

How do you list stuff like you have done? hasnt there been a lot of complaints about those acer monitors?

I am thinking of going with 250gb 850 pro ssd for my os and either a x1 1tb 850 pro ssd for storage and games or x2 500gb 850 pro in raid 0 for storage and games ect.

Also a H105 cooler in the enthoo?

What do you think?
 
Thats what I was thinking thanks stullid will save some coin too going with the 1tb instead of x2 500gb hehe :)

Did you change your front fans to 140mms if so is it any better?

Whats about a 295 instead of x2 290x's?

What I was thinking was gpu rad on back enthoo fan slot as intake and x2 140mms on the front as intake and the H105 as exhaust?
 
Already added that extra cage to the list :)

So other than having budget is there any advantage of going with the X99 - 5820k over the z97 m8?
 
Thought of one more question you might be able to answer stulid m8 on the back IO of the Asus Maximus VII Gene Z97 I noticed a toslink port would I be able to use my Mixamp hooked up to that, or perhaps get a soundblaster z to hook up my mixamp?

I think I have sorted out my spec now Stulid what do you think m8.

Gigabyte X99M mobo with 16gb 2666mhz ram and 5820k cpu.

What I plan on doing with the sound card is to plug in Razer Tiamat 7.1 to the Card then attach the speakers to the Tiamats control box so I will have one button switching from speakers to headphones.
 
Yeah seen them bud :) Timed well for order next week hehe. Going for the OcuK AIO 38mm thick cooler :)

Whats worrying me is going from the Dell IPS panel back to a TN panel dont wont to regret it as its a lot of coin to splash out.
