There is life outside of the BMW brand you know :p

True, but I could live an ///M life quite happily.

The Z4M would be great, just think, just under £32k of an 06 plate from a dealer in Gloucestershire with change spare to start the tweaks!

Model:Z4 M Coupe
Price:£31,850
Mileage:6,291
Transmission:Manual
Fuel:Petrol
Exterior colour:Imola Red
Interior:Black Nappa leather
Date of registration:November 2006
Registration:WR56CYK
Dealer:Cotswold Gloucester
Cole Avenue
Gloucester
GL2 5ER
01452 872600
:)

993 turbo tbh.

I'm curious; how much have you spent on the car and how much of that (if any) are you getting back on the sale price when compared to a 'standard' model?

Hi there

Don't like the 993's sorry, 996 or 997 for me anyday.

With what I paid for the car when I purchased it, plus the cost of all the mods I have done the price I am getting actually leaves me making a profit, so I've done very well. Because essentially I've been paid for 18 months of motoring and huge amounts of fun. :)

Gotta remember when I bought the Mustang the guy gave it away because identical cars were selling for 8-10k more at the time, I just got very lucky. So I was saved from any depreciation, by getting such a good deal. The same looks like it could happen again on a Z06 for me. :)

One memory of that car that will stick in my mind/traumatise me for ever: Almost commiting involuntary man-love with Simon due to being squeezed into the back seat at the R/R day
It was so cosy though.

All hot and sticky together :D

I'll be sad to see that go, I love the look of the Stang and that one is a beauty ! :( Also seeing you've put a LOT of time and labour into tuning and upgrading it too it feels a little premature to let it go so soon. The Mustang would be more of a head turner than any Audi/Porche out there consider the rarity it is on British roads. But I see your reason of depreciation/owning more cars while you are young, life is all about experimenting different things and this is no different.

Bye bye Mustang.

Hi there

All previous cars I've modded, but just basic stuff and then left or lost interest.

Wheras with the Mustang I've learnt how all aspects of a car work and I've pretty much changed every aspect of the car and done the research plus work myself. So its been great education for me owning the car as well that will help greatly with future cars. The knowledge I have learned and gather will give me ideas and possible upgrades for new cars.

However the Mustang is a platform in the first placed that was designed for modders to customise every aspect, Mustangs always have. Hence why I've had so much fun in doing the modding and then feeling the benefits. :)

I have seen the mustang up at OCuk a few times.

Totally blown away by it's presence. It does look incredibly mean, it's most certainly a car you will not see in great quantity so it will be missed. I have enjoyed monitoring the progress that has been made on it too regarding the tuning etc.

Great car, impressed it's sold so fast and sounds like it's off to another enthusiast which is good news.

;)

Hi there

Yeah the guy sounds pretty cool, he sounds like another enthusiest and as such it will be going to a good home.

definite shame to see it go, stunning car that stands out from the OcUK crowd for sure :]

1 - Interior shot taken of the dashboard in the view of the driver
2 - Interior shot of the view taken of the dashboard (entire) in the view of the position from the middle rear seat.

Watch out don't go posting on another forum saying you own it :p

Gibbo its gotta be the Z06 mate, you are the american car guy, they are amazing beasts, you know how much i love the car from our speakings at the RR day when it was up on the ramps, you have a passion for them and i don't think you will get that from anything else.

Remember the 1st time i see the Saleen parked outside OcUK i was in awe. Had just picked a XKR up from Manchester dealership and popped in to buy a gfx card on the way home. Now a XKR is a beefy machine but looked like a MX5 parked next to that.

Be strange driving down the tunnel and not seeing it parked there!
