Lords of the Fallen

Played for like 5 hours now, game crashed twice. I watched some video review and they said that the game was too easy etc yet I am getting my ass kicked all the time. I would say that the game is of the same difficulty as Dark Souls series. Looks really good and it's enjoyable but still haven't figured it out and therefore getting my ass kicked a bit :( I am on some quite hard boss now, 4th I think and have only 2 healing potions which is not enough imo as bosses take very long time to kill.

Yeah definitely more healing potions would be great. I did two and a half hours with no crashes last night. Game ran pretty well apart from some frame drops.

I also grabbed it for £10 off Bundlestars :D

Only played 2-3hours so far and it's superb although I can't decide on what class to play !!. Luckily had no crashes or lock-ups so far but I have just done a full format and Windows 7 re-install whether that helps or not.

I only have a 1gig 750gtx but once the games loaded up I can set everything to V.High and it runs great.

Defo worth £10!

List of bugs during my play through.

1. Game crashes. Had 3 crashed during the first 2 hours of playing the game. Then couple more crashes until the end of game. Also one crash during Annihilator fight.
2. Quake spell – did not hit any enemies even once with this spell, some sort of bug I recon, no matter where the spell landed it did no damage to any enemy.
3. Checkpoint and potion bug – randomly not all of my potions would refill, so for example I would have 5 potions but would only get 2-3 refilled after using the checkpoint stone. Sometimes my HP would not refill as well. No consistency here at all.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

I would say do not buy the game until some further patches, the developer promised some patch about 2 weeks ago that was supposed to come within few days but since then no updates etc. The game is definitely not ready for release and if you check steam forums then it's all negative posts.

If you want this type of game then pick any Dark Souls game where everything is very polished, also this game's word is super small compared to any Dark Souls games.

This game is highly unstable avoid at all costs the devs look to have abandoned plans to patch it again I think they cut their loses & took the money & ran.

I have asked for a refund this game is barely early access stable it crashes a lot especially when you least expect it

Shame it looks pretty but is so unstable I think it could corrupt your OS eventually due to the constant GPU driver crashing

464mb patch just update on steam ;-

Is game worth £11 on steam sale?
Nope as its highly unstable for many gamers. I got a full refund from Steam a few days ago after being able to play for about 2 hours in the 3 weeks since I bought it

My advice for a quiet life is avoid at all costs the devs are working on the sequel they do not appear to be concerned about fixing this game which works for some but not others it all depends on your GPU & the drivers used.

No-one can tell you what to try either you would have to contact gamers who never had issues to see what GPU & drivers they used

Just started playing this after buying it in the Autumn sale.
I've clocked up 15 hours and not had a single crash.

It was quite tough to begin with, but now I've got in the habit of using spells it's beginning to feel quite cheap. I killed the champion first go, and with the Stab Spell (I think) at level 3 it's a bit too easy to unleash it on the enemies and stand back without having to get my armour dirty.

Much of the loot seems a bit pointless too. Most of the weapons you find are awful compared to the stuff you've already got, and even socketing runes doesn't seem to make that much difference.

It also looks like it's going to be quite short. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the Souls games.

All of which sounds like quite a gripe, but actually I'm really enjoying it and hope it's sold well enough to justify a sequel.

I just wish there was more of it (and that that the writing/plot/voice acting wasn't so utterly generic and awful and wrong and sad).

Damn this game is good so far, however....

I need a FOV mod and fast! I'm going to throw up if I play this any longer :(

Took me around 10 hours to finish and I didn't have a single crash.

One of the best looking games I've played, hopefully more games will make character and armour models like in LOTF.
