Lose the M3?

I'm liking the Silver. Conservative maybe, but it just looks so much classier, wont show up stone chips too bad either.

20-22k would get you a 996 porsche 911, why settle for second best ?

slap a official porsche warranty on it (725 pounds for 12 months) then off you go, dealer warranty, no worries, 4.5 seconds to 60 and own what was described last year as the best sportscar in the world EVER by which car magazine.

Not one worth having it wouldn't. You need more for a decent 911.

There are some very ropey 996's on the market towards the lower end of the price range :(

Some of the interior colour combinations specified by the initial buyer are horrid, too.

Just as an indication of what I'm getting at, check this example out that was one of the first up on Auto Trader- it's for sale a few miles away from me at 25k

Oi! Less of the Smurfism  I had one for 18 months and it was lubbly jubbly

Unpainted Silver is the one to avoid :D

In case you've not made your own mind up yet, do it, do it, do it!

They look absolutely fantastic, much better than your current E36 in my opinion.

a short clip of the Smurf M3, passenger view, blasting past what looks like a Maestro :p

Hmm ok, not too flattering then eh... even a walking drunk blind man with a broken stick and an ill dog could blast past austin's finest junk! :p

Now I have just gone and confused myself :(

I know the cams on some of the 2002-2004 speed 6 engines can be doddy if they weren't changed but I am seriously in love. I can't stop thinking about it :o

4.0 Tuscan S
390 bhp
0-60 3.8 sec
60-0 2.5 sec
195+ MPH top end
No nanny controls/limiters etc
Dry sump

Oh and to finish it off it is £120 CHEAPER a year to insure than my e36 M3!!!!!

You can all say I am mad now :D

It's made of plastic. Bus stop seat plastic.

Get the M3.

I'm disgusted, actually offended that you'd go for that over the M3. I am upset and must lie down.
