LOST..... How do you think it will end

Des is probably the one that brings both timelines together or at least gives a better explanation of what the other timeline actually is, I don't know how, but considering his significance in the overall story and him being the constant it's pretty obvious.

Thread title- 'LOST....how do you think it will end'

I've already explained that several times, the island is the axis mundi, the central point of the earth and gateway to other realms, eg. multiple timelines. For some reason, the rules of crossing the realms doesn't apply to Desmond so he can alter what is happening in other timelines.

The Man in Black/Smokeys home is in another realm/timeline, the island is a cork stopping him from escaping and causing havoc in the timelines and somehow causing the human race to 'cease to exist'.

I used to be really into Lost but this season is starting to bore me. They're still not explaining things just adding more and more ridiculous themes and expanding the mystery.

Sayid was there, in the water looking at Desmond, and Desmond also saw Sayid and had a 'WTF?!' expression. Thats why Fake Locke sent Sayid to the island, to find out what 'The Package' was, or whatever Widmore is planning.

....when was the last time we saw him??

Last time we saw him was episode 1/2 'LA X' of this season, when he and Jack met on the plane in the 'alternative timeline'. As for the last time he had his own centric episode, episode 3 'Jughead' of last season. far to long if you ask me.

They've wasted so much of this season on those stupid flash-sdieways, I just hope there is a good point to wasting half the season on it, the jin-sun episode was pointless IMO.

Calm down dear, it's only a TV Show, and i certainly don't have time to go back and watch the other seasons.

That statement is just silly.

You have time to watch the show now, so just even if you watch it from the start in the same time slot as you are watching the new episodes, 1 episode per week.

The show literally is missing 99 percent of the stuff, you don't even know who Locke was before, you don't know the story of Claire, the story of anything. It's just spoiling and making the show almost pointless.

According to podcast, next episode is all about Desmond :) If its true that normal space and time rules dont quite apply to him then this should be very interesting.
Also get set for "a lot of explosions" in these last episodes

I think the "lot of explosions" was about a single episode. So it should be very entertaining. :)

Just a heads up for people as well, there's going to be a one week break for Lost at the end of the month. :(
