**Lost Odyssey Official Thread**

After my last outing with an RPG called Mass Effect ill be definitely giving this a miss. Mass Effect for me was a pile of steaming dog crap, wasted £40 on that POS:p...i blame McDaniel for convincing me to buy it:p


Saying that Lost Odyssey does look good though

The game itself look to be identical, there is not foreign language in any of my game. The box will be diff though obviously, in asia they get that flip 4 tray case thing here it looks like were getting 3 discs stuck in the middle then another in a paper slip case in the manual.
 
I have just pre-ordered this.
I was a massive fan of the FF series with 8 and 10 being by far and away my favorites. I also loved Blue Dragon, even if it was stupidly easy.

Most of the reviews knocking around look average at best which is disappointing but then I have never payed that much attention to them. Halo 3 being a good example, great reviews but a totally underwhelming gameplaying experience.

well i hope your right ive just bought it off renchi.com hopefully will be here soon ( well longer than waiting for the Uk version).

well im upto disc 2 so either Ive learned korean or its in english. :p

Its great though, you wont be disappointed.
 
The only thing with buying the UK version for me is it will make life easier to sell it on once I've finished with it.

cheers mate, i found it in the end, missed one of the things :o still took me a few trys though as i went straight to the worm.

yeah, the artwork is prettyer on the canadian/uk version, but has the gay disc stack thing, the asian version has the better box with 4 seprate holders, and a cool drawing of kaim.





aslo, i created a jap live acount tonite which was fun lol, and downloaded the free dlc BUT what is it ? i havent had a chance to play/look unfortunatly, and will it add itself to my current game ?

do u need an asian account to play the game, or only to get the achievments??

you can play the game on any account, i just created one as they have the first 2 lots of dlc available now :cool: one is free the other is 200ms points.

so if i want thoes dl content on my imported copy, without making an asian account. I can still get it but will have to wait, for it to come onto the uk xbox live.
