so far the load times are fine especially going into combat. its more the frequency of them thats noticeable.

Read the first page, it said 'MMORPG' elements, that to me says it has multiplayer.

Sounds like marketing fluff to me. The only MMORPG related stuff I can think of is the assembling rings by collecting spoils from dead beasties.

Ive just started on disc 3.Good game up to now.Only niggle i have is with the fact you have to cast all your spells etc in one go.Would rather do one at a time.

That's seriously your loss, FFVII doesn't look bad to this day as it uses pre-rendered backdrops. Give it a go, you won't regret it.
