I gave up on the install for the f2p test, 12 hours to download 3gb, with 10 still to go. Good to see we're off to a nice smooth start

No point, as the f2p is on the test realm only at the moment. You'll have to wait a week or so I'm guessing before it goes live.

No, they're purely to get you spending in the beta to test out their store. Everything gets wiped before it goes live.
