I'm still out on stances. I used strength almost exclusively up to about 50, now I find I have to stick to endurance or I burn through mana far too quickly.
It's blue therefore it's mana 
Are full UI conversions in yet? I know they were trialling the necessary code, but never heard if they went live.

Yep! I'm three weeks away from an exam, but once that's over definitely. Hit 50 on my captain the other day too.
Mine is much the same, although the only improvement I can see is the reactive water.
Yeah, I know what you mean. The distant hills in Forochel looked nicer at first I thought, and the snowstorm up at the redhorn gate had swirly bits that I don't remember before. Doesn't mean they weren't there though
If you picked up the lone lands too you'd be pretty much set up to the early 40's at any rate.
I think captain is probably the closest thing to a paladin - heavy armour, with party buffs and healing.
You build up destiny points as you level and complete quests, so as a new character you wouldn't have any.

Definitely 48+. You just won't be able to kill red / purple mobs at 42.
You'd have to add up the cost of all the adventure packs and expansions, add in a few extra character slots and maybe shared bank storage. A small fortune probably
The best way to do it would be to buy a lifetime membership if it's still available, not sure that it is though.
