Love Britain ? - Vote UKIP.

You seem to be complaining that it is only people with left leaning political view that denounce the UKIP for the homophobic racists fools that they are.

The fact is people with political views well to the right agree that the UKIP are just nasty omniphobic airheads.

Homophobia and Racism are two far overused/misused words today.

Politely Correctness=Marxism.

I agree the 'racism' card to thrown around too easily, but homophobia is a fairly accurate way to describe opposition to Gay Marriage, what other reason (than an irrational fear that 'normalising' gay relationships will somehow cause the downfall of society) is there to?

I don't buy the being devoted to scripture (therefore nothing to do with their personal opinion/feelings) line either, unless the person saying it also tries and kill any Sunday workers, or starts stoning women for looking lustfully at married men.

Not everyone who supports UKIP is homophobic. I'm not. Not every tory supporter supports all the tory policies they have. Same for Lib Dems and Labour.

Some stuff they have is daft but I still suppor them as they can't do any worse than the current incumbents.

If Tories had effective border controls and actually listened to the people then I might have stayed with them but nope...they didn't...so I'm voting UKIP.

I vote for who will screw me the least. I can't say that I 100% agree with any particular party's policies but that's just how it goes.

Obviously no mainstream party is tackling the issues that UKIP are raising effectively, otherwise they wouldn't be getting so much publicity and doing so well in opinion polls. The problem is that one or two issues have become so prominent in some people's minds, that they'll vote purely on the basis of the headline-grabbing policies offered by UKIP. That's LibLabCon's fault tbh.

Quite. That I think UKIP is a racist and homophobic party (among other problems), that does mean that I think everyone who votes UKIP is a climate change-denying, racist homophobe. People voting for a party does not mean they align themselves with everything that party stands for.

Homophobia is official UKIP policy. They are the largest party to oppose Gay Marriage.

So would they ban the gays then, or do they have the old fashioned out of touch view of what marriage is?

You could have no problem with Gay people but still have an issue with Gay Marriage for instance because of the pedestal you've put marriage on.

Oh wow really? That just proves that anyone who votes for them is a homophobe, this could be a shocking reflection on society

Yes, but it doesn't.

Are you saying you agree with every policy that the party of your choice has?

It would be weird if so. UKIP are all about the EUs argument, simple as that, the rest of their policies is just fluff and bluster.

They want to actively discriminate against people with a particular sexual orientation - they are homophobic and have an official homophobic policy.

There are those who have no problem with homosexuality but just believe marriage has a different role for society though.

It's an old fashioned view based on the book of the magic cloud person in the sky but it is a view non the less.

Popular? At the 2010 general election UKIP won a mere 3.1% of the vote and failed to gained a single seat!

:D

Nevertheless, opinion polls indicate that they are on course to win 30% of the vote in next month's European elections. They shouldn't be dismissed.

It's the MEP elections the turnout will probably just be ukip supporters, it will be well below 25% and the general ukip won't get a single seat
