LOW FPS?

If I remember right...Fallout 3 when set to the max field of view or depth of whatever it is called, it can be quite CPU demanding...and the fact is that old game only uses two cores doesn't help. As someone already mentioned, try overclocking the CPU and see if frame rate improves.

Just because it isn't on the list it shouldn't cause problems.
If you are worried about the ram run Memtest86 for a few hours and see if anything bad comes up.

That wont always work. Best to test individual RAM sticks by taking the other/s out and leaving one in for a few hours to see if that solves the problem.

I looked it up and my ram is fine with my mobo. someone else had the same set up as me basically and he can run his games just fine :/

I think it could be my HDD. i read bad HDDs can cause low frame rates in some games and that your computer will run slower that it should which is whats happening to me. so im getting a new HDD later and ill see what happens then.
 
Guys, what does 'generate serial ATA driver diskette (y/n)' mean? I'm trying to install the latest INF driver. It keeps giving me this message. Iv pressed y to accept it but then it says 'reboot system now press any key to continue' and once I do that it gives me the same message over and over I tried pressing n for no to see if it would work but it didn't it just gave me the sane diskette message. :s

my system has the sapphire 7850 overclocked to 1050mhz core and 1400mhz mem but i have the i5 2500k which is currently at stock


here is my results, hope this helps

your scores on 3dmark seem to be spot on tbh

Thanks, That did help. Did you have the factory OC'd 7850? I have the non- OC'd and I havent OC'd it since I last formatted my HDD 2days ago.
 
I just played minecraft and it was only running at 40-55FPS with far settings n stuff. i looked this up and people with the same set up are getting 130FPS!! i have the latest version of java as well!

no sorry dont have fallout 3.

i have skyrim with hd texture packs and everything on ultra and i get constant 60fps even with fraps running.

gta runs at over 60fps with everything max and the same with l4d
