Take it the OC Reference 1080 for much cheapness is gone and won't be seen again? :(

Was going to get one for my Dad now that I have a bunch of old cards on Ebay, might have to settle for the Palit 1070 which seems a pretty good deal.

There's a few 1080's at £499.99, One of them is the MSI 1080 Armor which I'm currently using, It has a decent cooler, no coil whine although that may vary card to card, and under load it's not obtrusive at all, I don't use headphones for gaming so that matters to me. It's a solid card, no backplate though.
