Luggage

Fox won't have purchased anything yet, he loved is old luggage, sure it had covered some miles, but it was still in good condition, and still looked good for its age. He tried a newer luggage, it was smaller and more modern but it just didn't ride right on its wheels, it rattled and it's inside lining was just cheap. The old luggage isn't worth anything anyway so he'll probably keep it alongside the new luggage when he finally decides.

I like bric's luggage. It is well made and it makes me feel like a boss (I look out for it cheap on ebay though because it is obscenely expensive)

We have a Da Kine split roller trolley and have had it for the last 12 years and its still going strong.

It gets used for about 6 weeks of international trips a year, and has done many 4week stints through Asia, South and North America and Europe.

Bought it originally for going skiing, but I'm too old for all that now. 1 half has 2 compartments so can split items and the bottom is one large section both have zipped mesh to secure cloths etc.

Great bags, and well worth the money.

I've got one of those as well and it must be about 10 years old, so far it's stood up to numerous trips abroad, a few house moves and although it's looking a bit battered it's still functionally sound. It wasn't particularly cheap to buy in the first place but on a cost per year/trip basis it's a bargain.

I don't think the Split Roller is quite what is needed here but the Duffle Roller sounds ideal. If the build quality is similar then I'd have no worries about it lasting for years.

What did you go with in the end Fox?
