lulwut windscreen fail

Yeah about right - only bit of advice I would give is examine the car top to bottom before you accept it back from the resprayers. Also double check the colour on pickup under normal light...

Excellent news, I had a meeting with a lovely chap from the company today who has authorised my preferred bodycentre to go ahead with the rectification work. As a bonus, which I guess is nice compensation, the bonnet will lose all its stonechips. They need the car a week though

...and now a windscreen fitter is now on the dole :D

Not a bad result that.

Corsa courtesy car? :p

Well, just went to see my repairers today, and my Cefiro is sat there with a brand new windscreen fitted. It's going to the valeters tomorrow and I'm going to pick it up on Monday as I'm too cheap to buy road tax on the 31st of the month.

Your car has seen bodyshops and dealers more times than a fat kid has eaten an Oreo!

I had a 118d M Sport last time but given I'm dropping it off in the afternoon next week when all the loaners will have presumably left at 9am probably, yes :p

I'm also getting them to do a few other bits and bobs for me as part of my quest to get it as close to showroom condition as possible :)

After the 3rd time of taking my old CTR EP3 back to Honda for a rattly window they began to hate me, can't imagine what they think of Fox:p

I thought a rattley window was a safety feature to let you know it's still there :p

Got my windscreen replaced yesterday.

Got into the car this morning with a splash and the feeling of wet socks.

Bloody thing is leaking in underneath the dash and has soaked the entire drivers side carpet, front and back. :(
