It's like chinese whispers! AFAIK he isn't banned, just decided to leave after no one believed he owned his 5 series and a brand new Merc project car that he was going to twin supercharge :D

We get plenty of people trying it on in motors.
 
There was a women on a parenting forum I use that lied and deceived everyone on it for years. She pretended she had fertility problems and made up ivf treatments. She then said she was pregnant with twins but lost them, more lies, then lost more babies and had everyone feeling sorry for her but the whole lot was made up. Someone else also did a similar thing saying she lost a baby but then was pregnant with twins and was found out. Scarily these were both users that had been posting for ages and people thought they knew. They even stole photos from the internet of people and their children and pretended they were their own. Certainly makes you think.

That is just weird. Lieing about wealth and sexual conquests i can understand but family problems ?? wwwwwwwwwwhy?!

To get sympathy, make people feel sorry for them and talk to them.

It's the internet equivalent of the girl at a party who starts crying to get attention.

In some cases it may be a genuine mental illness. There's one where the sufferer makes up symptoms to get unnecessary medical attention, I think it's called Munchausens or something similar.

Did anyone ever establish the facts from fiction? LOL. Motors was getting good at the Witch Hunts too...

As for lying, politicians and journalists put a "spin" on things all the time so why shouldn't we expect people on internet forums where there are less consequences. It really does suck though.

Think people who lie about everything on internet forums are maybe trying to make up for something lacking in there life?
 
I like people who lie and take it too far on this forum. It means that we get to read some comedy gold when they finally get caught out :) Nothing better than a witchunt
