people will always lie, embelish or exaggerate stories, be it on an internet forum or in real life.

Was Oracle the one who claims to own a 535 with SMG?
"portable Sun" was another..
there was also that chap who whenever taking a picture just so happened to have huge wads of cash getting in the way all the time..
But then there are cases where the person in question turns out to not be lieing and the witchhunters try to save face
such as Gun9 and his uber Nova.

So far on this forum there has been Tom, portable sun, the stig and oracle as far as im aware and been here. All have been really good fun to read but still why. OK I can understand people telling the odd white lie to make convo more interesting but building a fake life on an internet forum is just plain weird lol
When I did event security up at Ally Pally, I worked with a guy who constantly lied. He drove this (despite getting the bus to work), went on holiday to there, met whoever, when he was out drinking.
His gf was also a model, been on the cover of vogue and all that. She turned up to meet him one night, she was no more Vogue cover girl than I am. My mate Ronnie asked Mark, "What does she model? Balaclavas?" The look on his face was priceless.

He did however lie at first about the specs and a few other things, but it did appear he had a decent nova in the end.
