M140i Shadow Edition

Out of interest, how would you finance that? Genuine question.

I've looked at the Carwow (et al) route but I'm not sure how financing works. If you buy via a dealer on PCP then obviously they'll do all the residual value stuff and finance the difference easy as. If you're going via one of the discount sites though, how do you go about financing that?

Actually it's all via dealers with the dealer PCP - the discounts usually include the manufacturer deposit contributions etc

All those sites essentially is allow the dealers to bid for your business as if you went around asking each one I've been offered this what can you do. Rather than you having to do the hard work, they know these sites give them volume and so go straight to the crunch in terms of what they will offer to get your business. Also these companies such as carwow take a cut.

Who on earth runs an M4 as a company car? Assuming 40% tax, you'd be looking at £700-800pm in P11D tax minimum!

Exactly and P11D is done at list price for the car and options. With the discounts currently on offer, makes much more sense to go private. Company Car only makes sense if your going Hybrid, All Electric or really High MPG diesel etc (but who wants the latter...)

Then I'm not sure how people are getting such good deal as, when I got a PCP quote off the back of a Carwow quote, straight PCH leasing still worked out cheaper.
