MarkJB: How did you change your Windows partition icon? A friend's been trying for a while now without luck?

Cheers mate. :)

EDIT: Never mind, had a bit of a Google and found out. 'Twas a a bit of a long process, but he's now very happy!

It's a crop-n-stretch but it might get the job done until you have a proper high-res version. :)

I've got them in Orange at 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 but they say Compaq on them so you might not want them :)

Where abouts does it say Compaq?

I suppose I could photoshop out the name if its small :)

I like this one.. soothing green

what are the apps with a duck (green ) and the core duo app what rae they they look cool,
The application with the duck icon is Adium. It's a fantastic multi-protocol instant messaging client based on the GPL'd GAIM codebase with a native OS X GUI. It's highly customizable and I like it very much.

So the widescreen monitor is running parallels full screen and the MBP display is regular OSX?

If so - that is awesome!

yup! just move your mouse across to the windows screen and click it to control it, then crtl+alt to release it :D

Hamish - how does your parallels run with OSX?
mine is abit sluggish after not using it for a while?
That would be becasue after sitting idle for a while the microkernel's memory manager decided to swap that to disk as to free memory for a running application when the running app requests it. Methinks there's not much that can be done about it other than install more memory.
