I found that out whilst "Test Driving" a MacBook in Toys R Us. As clean as my hands were, I still left prints all over - white is definitely the one, no nonsense, cheaper too :cool:

yeh - within an hour of using it it was covered and the trackpad became 'shiny' - dont know how it will look after a few months of usage and nothing seems to get the marks off so it has to go!

On the phone they told me it was only coming from Denmark, so would only take a few days... but it came from China in the end, so took over 2weeks to come.

I'll post pics soon, just need to tidy my desk first!

I don't know why it's taking so long, been waiting here too.

Loads of rumour about it being "upgraded" to C2D - but I'm still having my doubts...

I'd doubt rumors of upgrades quite a bit, bearing in mind the macbook is quite new and the pro line will need to be upgraded first anyway. I doubt an upgrade till november at the earliest, more like january.

This image is quasi-mac i guess. Still, Apple's returns policy gave me 6 hours worth of dual-macbook goodness, so I took some snaps. More (mac only) pics could follow.

I think the pics were taken with a 2mp Sony Ericsson camera phone. Am I right??

edit: nice setup by the way, change to widescreen must be sweet.

It was actually 3mp nokia n80. The pics are so bad because the slider for close or distant shots was half in the middle. I couldn't understand why they were so crap until I noticed the next day!

The change of display is fantastic!!! I was so close to buying the 20" cinema display but when I saw this beauty for a third of the price I though pah go dell and use the saved money to get a new dual core mini

The extra space is great, and everything looks so sexy on it! Another good thing is the display can be adjusted mega easy so you can get it just right!

Cinema displays realy look the part on the desk, but the Dell is such a more versatile display with the extra connections and adjustable stand.

I remember when I bought my first widescreen..... I knew i would never go back, now I'm running two 19" side by side and my MacBook. Couldnt imagine it any other way.

I think its a case of price aswell. I have a 20" Cinema and my dad loves it, so he ordered himself a 20" Dell 2007

Part of me feels sick that his was brand new for £300 and mine was a month old for £400, but mine looks so lush
