Gurdas, if you manage to speak to Apple about why you can't seem to get the monitors set up according to the spec page, can you post the outcome here?

Yer got it out to try frontrow, very good, i love the fact you can use it to watch the latest film trailers without going to the website and downloading them etc. and plus im going to use it with my elgato eyetv when it arrives so can watch freeview tv. :)

Oh... hmm, might give the remote a whirl then.

Shame my area don't have Freeview, would have been nice.

trust me, as a first time mac user im definetly impressed with it all, and frontrow is amazing, im addicted to it already, why did i ever have a windows machine again ? :)

Didn't think frontrow supported freeview/tv :confused:
I guess you need to buy an overly expensive USB input device to use it if it does tho :(

@mortals

Think you've mistaken, it's not me who's getting the freeview for the MacBook - I don't know if frontrow allows TV channels e.t.c.
paddyuk is and he's getting an elgato eyetv (think it's USB) to recieve freeview signals - saw them on Amazon, expensive stuff.

ah ic soz :)
reading too fast, didn't notice the other thread.

Those eyetv things seem quite pricey :eek:

Yes sorry its me.

Im getting the elgato eyetv dtt one, £69 from apple store, supposed to be better then the miglia one with is same price.

it is usb 2.0 and you can use the macbook remote in frontrow with it (just adds another menu to frontrow)

bit expensive seen as the windows ones can be had for around 20quid but hey its mac.

www.elgato.com for more specs.

Mine arrived on Wednesday, here is a picture of a 2' iMac straight out of the box. She's gorgeous and she's mine! :D
