Macbook refresh rumours....?

I got the lowest spec MBP 13, mainly just for internet and stuff. It's really well built and I love the keyboard and screen. That said, I don't see how OSX is so much better than Windows as the Apple fanboys make out.
 
Have used iMac before that. Aside from not having to restart when I uninstall things it's not making an impact ;)
Oh, and I love how I can't view some things fullscreen because Apple says so. Yes Safari I'm looking at you.

Wait until it doesn't crash, until you don't have to defragment, until you don't have to keep closing things down and restarting because programs become a resource hog...

I didn't even realising defragging was still done :confused: Again, not had forementioned issues thre, the fact is I've sacrificed bang for buck just to get a glowy Apple logo on the front.
Not saying I regret it, just not amazed.

Hey all

Used the Apple 14 day guarantee yesterday & replaced my high end 13" Macbook pro 2011 with a high end 15" yesterday, the 13 was running far too hot for my liking when running games, wow & starcraft 2.

Really impressed with this 15" bootcamped it with windows this morning & have been running Rift on it with no problems.

Tbh I should have gone for this model first with the additional graphics card built in.

One tip though if you bootcamp the 2011 models install Lubos Macbook Pro Fan Control it will give you better control of the cooling fans when running windows.

Mine has now apparently shipped (shipped yesterday morning), but there is no carrier tracking number or anything. Does it take a few days for this to be updated or something?

Apparently because I ordered a case with my MBP I wont get a tracking number until the orders are merged, wherever/whenever that may be. Knowing my luck the order will merge once the MBP gets to the UK and I wont get a tracking number until it's outside my house :p
 
I was hoping Apples reknowned user friendly rep would enable me to share a file with mothers iMac. Not a scooby do how to do it.

Mine has just arrived and is sitting next to my desk, so tempting to open it and play but the boss is on the prowl. Don't know how im gonna concentrate on doing any more work for the rest of the day though with that temptation sitting next to me.
