MACRO cheats? No Recoil etc

What's rubbish?

Man says he isn't cheating, gets caught cheating, same again....... Clearly he was banned multiple times
Some random guy (or girl) who can’t even show themselves putting out lots of content of streamers supposedly cheating just to gain views. A lot of it is pure speculation or even video editing trickery to make it look like that person is cheating!

It’s so boring and all the same, if you’re going to call people out at least have the decency to show yourself rather than hide!

He clearly says he's been blocked/banned, clearly says he's got an email

Either you're a streamer yourself OR you watch streamers, there is no reason to defend this

EDIT : Also look at Nadia! How many times did people on this very forum say the say the exact thing to me in defence of her! She went to a lan event, came back and BANNED. All those people defending her year in and year out, went quiet, funny that lol. She's back now, but on an ALT account, her original one was banned.

I don't think people realise how widespread the cheating is and it applies to console as well (will still need a capable gpu from a host pc or capture card to do it though)

This

Over 25,000 Warzone cheaters have been banned with the start of Season 2 Reloaded as the devs have implemented a host of new anti-cheat changes.

So how many of those 25,000 warzone players did we come across while playing? How many of those were streamers, considering JoeWo said " 0 amount of streamers cheat "

I enjoy watching videos on the more elaborate ways people have come up with to cheat but what is the actual incentive for people who cheat in online games? I literally don't understand it, if they're going for social 'clout' surely in the days of Twitch/etc they'd be streaming their gameplay and not cheating, nor would they be able to cheat in competitions for monetary gain. Why do they do it?

Its so sad cheating is still a thing in this day and age. You would think with the way Ai is evolving that could detect cheaters that this would be a thing of the past.

It's liking to the modern world where people get away with so much without any penalty.

Pretty sure you can grow a sizeable userbase on twitch etc (or you could when people were less informed than now) just claiming you're legit, and if you're not getting banned.. then who can argue against your claims. And you could compete in online tournaments and win prize money that way, depending on the popularity of the game, worst case scenario at least get a spot at a LAN event... even if you fail there.

Perhaps they just enjoy destroying their opponents or random people online, the enjoyment is simply knowing they have the upper hand. People are doing it in mobile games as well... so that says it all.

There are attempts to detect cheating using AI, some even very good but there is still a moderate chance of false positives i.e. someone doing something unconventional and/or exploiting a bug in a way which isn't actually cheating, etc.

Not that any anti-cheat is fool proof but detection of cheat engines, etc. tends to be more definitive and/or easier to verify a false positive.

EDIT: AI can be a powerful tool to indicate the chance someone is cheating but developers/publishers want a cut and dried solution that they can divest themselves of as little effort or responsibility as possible.

That's likely going to be the solution, even a false positive will have to incur some form of punishment, especially if they can't get on top of it, they're losing the battle at the moment.

Or things can stay as they are, and we just complain on forums.

I know people will hate this (including myself), but the only way to deter people is to make it a criminal offense like in japan. People just buy another copy of the game if they get banned at the moment.

Saw my first cheater on Arma Reforged last night..... Knew exactly what building everyone was in, and the highest kills on the entire server 60. I called him out on it, he said " I don't cheat, I just got the game ". Others said he had a good gaming chair ( Basically that means he cheats ). By the end I was so annoyed by it, I called him a **** cheater. Guess who got kicked? Not the cheater, me for insulting the cheater " Do it again and you'll be permabanned "

Cheating = Keep playing
Insulting the cheater = Perma ban

I think as many of us have been gaming since the 80's and a lot of us program/work with tech we definatly know/can tell. Its just as grown men/women most of us don't care or get so upset about it. It is what it is.
Thankfully my battlefield/COD KD isn't the be all and end all these days and I dont want to be a streamer :d

Just here to have some lolz with friends on an evening after a hard day at work.

To be fair, the studios need to invest some real money into solving the problem, the reason it's so bad in some games - is because they're cheaping-out on everything, I know from first hand to this day - working in this industry along with some of these big studios, that they're just not putting any effort in at all.
