Made a terrible error in the work place, please read entire thread I need advice!

You could at least have put apostrophes on the two instances of "its" in the supplementary edit regarding your own terrible use of grammar. It might have helped had the rest of that sentence been grammatically correct as well. That's about all I got from your post.

Evidence of what? That the two of you were probably having sex at some point? So what? She's not your boss. You're not hers. It's not an employment issue. Sure, you misused the office communication system for personal messages during working hours, but that's not a big deal unless the logs show you were spending a lot of time doing it. Employees spend some time talking with each other about all sorts of stuff that isn't work-related. It's part of employing humans rather than machines.

Dammit, you got there before me!

At the youngest, she's gotta be 32, and lets face it she probably didn't start there at 16. Still, no harm in hitting what's available :)

Communicator logs may be stored, but the chances are they aren't... or if they are, they'll only be used in evidence if they have something concrete to go off to begin with.

Don't mention communicator or anything about 'chat' or anything like that, and even if there's a suspicion it mightn't even cross anyone's minds to check the logs.

Worst case is, they fire you both for spending 6 of your 8 'working' hours typing soppy lurve to each other on Communicator. (After fapping over the log contents)
