They should be questioned as to why they thought it was OK to, leave 3 children, 3 and under unsupervised while they went out with their friends when there was a baby sitting service on site for one.

It's not the best thing to do, but it's not illegal either. I think they already have been punished for this mistake.

How do you suggest they should be punished further?
By removing their children from them, because it has been nationally proven they can't look after them.

Moral questions and judgement asside (most people will agree the kids shouldn't of been left alone) how can they be punished further? That was the question...

So the fact they've lost their little girl isn't good enough for you?

Thats putting it mildly to say the least.

But it's not illegal either. I think they already have been punished for this mistake.

What about their other children, are they fit parents, I think the evidence says no.

That won't happen because it's:

a.) Illegal to take away someone's children due to a nation's moral judgement
b.) A minefield of moral questionability, taking away a parents remaining two children when they're already going through the anguish of losing one. Talk about kicking them when they're down.

What's wrong with their other children?

They have parents that think it is OK to leave them unsupervised so they can go out for a meal with their mates.

Putting aside the fact the girl has been taken, did the potential of an accident never occur to them, and before anyone says the children were asleep they could have waken up.

By the parents own admission they only checked every 30 minutes, anyone who has kids will know what damage a 3 year old can do in one minute let alone 30.

Your moral opinion does not count as evidence.

They left thier 3 kids. The oldest was 3. In an unlocked hotel room while they went out for lunch.

Seemed like irresponsible parents IMO

If they PROPERLY looked after their girl in the first place, she would have never gone missing...would she?

Maybe I'm just being pig-headed, but my own judgement of the parents is very low. I suspect I hold view of the majority.

As a saying I once heard goes: "If it's too hot, get out of the kitchen".

As ever lets hope shes ok and as ever lets hope all the other children that are missing/dying/suffereing get as much money/care sent to them as madeline has, (said for the 50th time), of course its sad shes gone, but it still annoys me how the media has decided to make her case 'worse' than all the other missing/dying/suffereing children in the world, at least hopefully this case has highlighted the world general problem
