PhysX on medium, AA off, AF 8x, other settings on max/on:

I think PhysX should run without a major impact on performance on Nvidia cards (260/275/285/295/460/470/480).
 
Ok, important info - you have to restart the game if you change graphics options in order for them to take place in Benchmarks!

Restarted the game and benched with the same settings as my previous post - PhysX medium, AA off, AF 8x:

Also, if you post screenshots of settings, do it AFTER running the benchmark. They tend to reverse to previous settings - confirmed info.

BTW this time the game was playable. No need for PhysX card ;)

Final run with the following settings. Previous benchmarks are irrelevant, if you want to make sure that you run the game with AA on or AFx16, you need to check in-game Video Options after benchmarking:

this demo's cocked up my screen brightness for some reason :(
my screens gone realy dull and i dunno how to fix it as all monitor settings are as before

EDIT: reboot fixed it
