One thing that Nvidia is definitely ahead with in the competition. I'd rather upgrade the card than buy another one for Crossfire tbh.
I agree, however there arent much in the way of upgrade options when coming from a HD5870.

Is the take up of hardware physx so bad, come on those with dedicated phsyx cards, give us a laugh at the performance figures with high physx on.

Come on peeps, try and keep the res at 1680x1050 so it's easyer to compare and for those people that don't have 1920+ res.
I've got sli GTX480s but i'm at work at the mo so will have to wait till tonight. Will try the bench in sli with max physx on and then try it again with sli off and one gtx480 dedicated to physx. Should be interesting to see the gpu usage on the second 480 thats running physx.

More evidence physx is a scam, check FPS and GPU usage out in game, no wonder it's doing SUB 30 FPS

With afterburner, settings/monitoring/advanced hardware graphs/ select what you want the OSD to display by selecting the " show in on-screen display "
theres not much in it, i get 98.9 @ 1920x1080 and 106.3 @ 1680x1050
How is it a bad port from consoles, the average FPS everyone's getting with PhysX off is good to say the least, the game is smooth as hell and looks good, plus we have quite few options to turn on that consoles don't have. PhysX was implemented for PC users, Nvidia cards owners in particular. As Rroff said,

Agreed, there's only VAT difference (17.5%) in pixels count between the two, performance difference must be lesser than that (and in fact is, lower than 10%). It would be nice to see consistent results though, we could compare CPU scaling and GPU performances using that. OP could even track the results in the first post.

hi jst played with my 2x5870,this game is lovely,sweet graphics,i put everthing at max ect 1920/1080 4aa16af high physx,game started at 65fps but when the acton started it dropped to 17fps wtf,is this because it a ati card,will it run better on 470 sli,i was gonna buy this game not to sure now,maybe the drivers need fixed
