To me it does, though nothing quite beats the music for the main menu in the first game though
It's tied in with a few previous characters and refers back to the second game occasionally.
It's more open world, but mechanics are Mafia.

Am going to wait for more patches they is too much bugs that is really putting me off.

the sky bug is really off putting, when the sun goes behind a cloud etc
then you have performance issues @1440p i get 30-40 fps on a game that doesnt look all that great tbh
its not a ugly game its not great either.
gta5 almost max settings @1440p i avg around 70fps

It's awful, isn't it. Beats me how anyone could defend this rubbish.
I just watched part of the Angry Joe video where he compares the night time skybox to the N64 Ocarina of Time...and the N64 version looks better.
Lot of dross being released for the PC at the moment.

The story on its own does, the voice acting and cutscenes are superb. The problem is you have to do repetitive "go here, kill everyone" missions in between the cutscenes. The actual game play is more Rambo than Mafia, you can't interact with anything in the open world except buy more guns and ammo to do the ****** missions quicker. It's a real shame, as I said the story was brilliant but no gameplay to back it up.
On a good note, steam let me have a refund after 5hours play time!
fps unlocked and it still won't go over 60fps on my GTX1080 at 1080 resolution, before the patch it ran ok, now with the update it has frozen a couple of times and I hope they can sort out the stupid light, dark, light which I suppose is when clouds are passing overhead, also the blinding light from the sun which washes everything out

Same here but I'm floating around the 40 fps mark with everything maxed at 1440p with a 4790k @ 4.5 and a stock clock Fury tri-x at 1040 mhz.
I'm gonna adjust the settings to get more though. I'm also going to try sweet fx for the first time ever, The sky boxes are terrible, The STALKER games are more than 6 years old now and they put the sky in this to shame. Overall it doesn't look to bad though. Quite nice at times.

Don't buy deus ex, you will only be left disappointed in the same way with regards to visuals and performance
Get doom, the game is absolutely stunning looking and runs amazingly well.
Granted Doom looks and runs great, Mankind Divided is one of the better looking (apart from facial animations) and playing titles released this year. It's not a perfect game but I wouldn't compare it to this.
He won't be having any problems on his rig and it can be had cheaply.
