Unless, as I say, one of them is called back into the game as a replacement. There's also a role which revives a dead player, not that I'd ever use it, and another (not on Mafiascum) that allows a living player to read and post in the Ghostdoc.

I've got the link to the ghostdoc but haven't got my own column and can't see how to set one up, is that something you need to do Jedit?

No, you could have done it yourself just by adding your name at the top of a blank column. It's done now.

I've not used Google docs before so not entirely familiar with it. I was on my iPad at the weekend and the interface on that doesn't seem to have a mechanism I could see that would allow me to access the empty columns. It's much more obvious on my work PC this morning.

May be something to bear in mind.

Wouldn't it have been easier to use something like quicktopic? It's more like a forum so allows a more obvious way of following any conversations rather than bouncing between columns.

Just for the record, I think mafia is good fun - but right now (particularly with having to plan a wedding at the same time) I don't think I'm in a position to actively play.

However, I am more than happy to admin a game if the previous administrators would like to take part again.

Phew, what a game. Going to re-read the thread tomorrow now I know who everyone is. It may be an idea for everyone else to do the same. See how people play when they have certain roles. There is often a difference in how people play when they are town compared with scum, though some of that could be attributed to them being new to the game in our case.

I'm going to leave it a week or two before starting up another game, let everyone digest what happened here and recover!

I agree on leaving it for a while, don't want to burn out early!

Maybe something with a little... less going on this time?

i agree, a break would do us good. But i liked having so many roles, it made it interesting.

Agreed on the break. I was thinking about sitting out the next game and watching as a spectator. But if there is a break then I'll more than likely join in

I also thought the roles added an extra level of interest, but I'd be happy to play with or without them.

As for the flavour... it wasn't for me. But I've never been a fan of Dr. Who, so that won't have helped!
