Mafia - Forum game

I was hoping to start tonight if I had enough people confirmed. Have it all sorted on a spreadsheet which I don't have a copy of at work so I can't check how we're doing now. Think we were pretty close though, and if not we can wait a little longer or play a smaller game, depending on how close we are.

Personally, I don't mind waiting if it means more people can get a game :)

Unfortunately we may have hit our interest limit, so unless there's a sudden burst of interest, I'll start a 9 player game going tomorrow evening. And I'm afraid that as the last person to register, and the game works best with 9 or 13 players, as the last person from the first game to sign up (Brabbinho got a pass since he joined half way though), fortyseven will have to sit this one out I'm afraid. Sorry about that :(

I've got a couple of options in mind for the ruleset, either a simple game like we just did, or a slightly more complicated version. Any preferences?

Assuming I am one of the 9? I'd opt for the simple game, but I am happy to go with the majority.

That's a shame.

As for which game, I thought the simple game worked ok. If there are lots of new players, perhaps a simple one first might be appropriate?

The player list would be:

Psymonkee
kaiowas
Egon
Pudney
<Previous players>
Brabbinho (kinda)
Gooner Leroy
Shamikebab
Pookie Bear
K1LLSW1TCH

So the old players outnumber the new players 5:4. Sounds like a standard game will be the order of the day. If so, it will be as before; 2 Mafia, 1 Cop, 6 townies.

Tomorrow evening, aim to send all the posts out and start the thread around 9pm tomorrow, give or take an hour.

No worries, I find it just as fun to watch since I can see everything that's going on, and why!

Set up trust now, missed the start of this :( Watching from the sidelines is good too mind, I have my thoughts for 1 person but will wait and see if i'm right :D

Sorry about that, didn't have any other way to contact you and point you towards the thread. But yeah, you two will be in the next game for sure.
