[MAFIA] The Thirteen Doctors

Does the info that Psymonkee offered us help at all? I'm not sure it does tbh. I'm not sure how a NK would show up. Would you have to be watching the person who sent the message to Jedit? Or would it work for any scum?

Also it doesn't necessarily mean that Psymonkee is town. I assume this role could be a scum role too.

My gut feeling is that Psymonkee is town.
 
I still have Psymonkee on my 'misc' pile, I just don't know. ATM my gut feelings are leading me to Killswitch and shorttricky but I need to go home and re-read my notes really.

Down to needing 6 votes for a hammer now in case anyone hadn't realised.
 
Apologies for the absence - I've been busy at work and only able to briefly log in and read what's going on.

I have my suspicions, but they are mostly based on who has been targetting me so far this week. Somewhat self-serving but voting for someone innocent is clearly anti-town behaviour - even if only the target knows the truth :D

As for some of the lists that have come up this week, while I appreciate the reasoning behind giving suspicions and ideas on those who did not vote for Brabbinho, I do not think this it is appropriate to ignore those who did vote for him (even though it includes me). Seeing as Brabbinho was taking very little part in the discussion and his protests were rather limited, I can easily imagine that he was offered up as a sacrificial lamb by the other mafia (does it still count as a visotry if you take one for the team? I think it does) - just to push our suspicions elsewhere. Or am I being extra paranoid?

Paranoia is the name of the game! Or at least, it could be.

I agree that we shouldn't rule out people who voted for Brab, but who stands out to you?
 
I also agree, but the list of those who didn't vote is smaller and I'd bet there is 1 scum hiding in that list. This gives us a higher probability of lynching scum if we focus on that list tonight.

I see where you're coming from and I wouldn't be totally shocked to find one of them voted for him but it's going to be much harder to find them. The only person who voted for Brabbinho that I'm have much of a suspicion over would be Leprechaun but I'm not convinced enough to take a chance on it just yet. If any other others are scum then they've played a very good game so far and are going to be difficult to flush out which is why I'd rather take down (what I perceive to be) the easy target first.
 
Well, if it was well-planned then we can't assume that there are any mafia among the non-Brab lynchers. However, I think it's hard to assume anything.

I think a review of Brabbinho's posts would be appropriate and since I'm in the office, that's a bit tough to do effectively. I will do what I can.

As for who has tickled my suspicions, I have to admit that I am not convinced by Egon (but he comes across guilty all the time :D), Kaiowas, because he has good instincts and he seems to have rushed this time around and K1LLSW1TCH latched on to voting for me very quickly for what I felt was a poor reason. Leprechaun has also behaved strangely, even though it seems at some points to have almost have been in support of me.

However, I have to admit the above meant I found it easier to justify moving my vote from iviv to Brabbinho when K1LLSW1TCH supported me! No offence :D
 
I'm still at a loss as to what's going on, this added 'flavour' just confuses me (The Valeyard, wtf?!) and obviously due to my awkward shifts I'm not able to participate as much as would be helpful!

I hope the information I provided could be useful but I haven't learnt anything desperately helpful from it but it's all I can tell you to try and make my case stronger for letting me live although I fear I'm in line to be NK'd when this day comes to an end!

I'm off to work now and pretty much unavailable until just after 9pm by which time the hammer may have fallen and if that's the case try not to read into my lack of voting - I simply can't use the internet at work unless on my break and even then only on my phone.

I'll try to keep up and join in where I can but my RL comes first :)

The Valeyard had me confused too for a bit until I realised it was a Dr Who character rather than anything specifically to do with mafia games.

So no danger of you giving us an insight into your suspicions? Who you trust? Maybe even a vote before you go? No wonder people are looking to lynch you.

Come on people, We seriously need to get away from this bizarre idea that there's some kind of problem with voting before the last hour or two of the day, it's getting ridiculous. I can't see why, by this stage of the game, every player wouldn't have a vote in place for whoever they deem most suspect at all times. If your opinion changes or a consensus appears to be forming then move your vote if need be but show *some* confidence in your own judgement.

I may be quiet for the rest of the afternoon as I'm waiting have fibre installed, have already had the adsl disabled by the looks of it and am currently reduced to a limited data 3G connection.

I don't particularly like voting early, i find that early votes tend to go no where and tbh i stuggle to find suspicion in people. seems my innocent until proven guilty theory has a flaw

I agree Kaiowas but I think given the lack of votes that people are undecided as there is no real stand out candidate for scum. I gave my analysis earlier in the day and I said that Psymonkey appeared slightly scummy to me, K1ill was neutral and the other 2 are probably town. So if you want a vote from me now I will stick by my original analysis.

I have everyone on that list as town :(

Chris is the only one who I thought had scummy moments, but I think that's over-enthusiasm as opposed to anything sinister.

Psy is a touch absent, but I think he's redeemed himself (Psy, I just spotted the little clue you gave - too subtle for me :D)

K1ll I thought I remembered as a bit scummy, but going back through his posts today, I agree with a lot of what he's said.

I think both mafia are in the lynch list - but that's based on that's what I would do if I were scum. For exactly the reason you give above.

the only reason you think both the mafia are on the lynch list is because you for some reason hate both me and pookie[. that is the ONLY reason you think they are both on that lynch, not because you have actual evidence

I don't hate you man, that would be harsh.

I do think you're dirty filthy scum, but otherwise we're good :D

Plus, if I was in Brab's position I would have encouraged the others to lynch me. Exactly because the first thing everyone did was look at the non-lynchers.
 
I will also put a vote in, I might not be around much between 5 pm-9pm but hopefully I'll be home must after that, going back out to work at 11pm though so I'll just clarify my position now while I have the chance.

Psymonkee hasn't posted a lot, it may not be his fault but I've worked every night this week and still managed to post almost 100% more! Ghost did this in the last game and turned out to be scum. Not only that's but he gave us a piece of "useful" information about people visiting other people which turns out to be anything but. Also I believe the information may have been fabricated, due to the fact that in the same post he also said:

Now to me that just sounds like he's trying to set two other players up to try and take away some of the heat he has received from not posting much/making vague posts, I'm not the only player over the course of the game to mention either of those things in relation to Psymonkee. For those reasons I'm going to make my vote:
