Major upgrade (£3000+ build) critique? :P

Deciding on the RAM is going to be annoying i can see :P

Is there a clear 'kickass' one to go for right now? (baring in mind i'll want 4GB minimum really.. especially if i have the misfortune of using Vista)

Here's some minimum requirements I'd want from such an expensive system:

-Yorkfield Quad
-8gig RAM
-2 3870x2
-2 150gig Raptor X (RAID0 for OS/programs)
-1TB drive for storage
-X-Fi
-850W PSU
-24" Monitor
-G9 mouse
-G15 keyboard
-G25 wheel
-Posh mobo (not clued up enough to choose one)
-Posh cooler
-BluRay burner

Some very good suggestions there imo.

why?...because I think it's crap that's why, leading you all on a wild goose chase, lets see what sort of response I get when I post a thread where I have £3k to spend...wake up, it's a big wind up.

Well actually if u look at the OP's posts he wants a 30" monitor which takes 1/3 of £3k leaving a £2k rig which isnt far off some enthusiast's rigs on this forum and would not be uncommon for someone to spend if they were getting say a prebuilt from some prebuilt enthusiast machines from outerspace ;)

It's all in good fun mate.

I'm not too bothered if the computer gets built in the end or not. It's interesting to see different people's views on how £3000 could be spent on a computer.
