Just make sure you get a Silverstone or Lian Li case, not the Antec P182 with it's cheap, plastic door.

-Posh mobo (not clued up enough to choose one)

Well actually if u look at the OP's posts he wants a 30" monitor which takes 1/3 of £3k leaving a £2k rig which isnt far off some enthusiast's rigs on this forum and would not be uncommon for someone to spend if they were getting say a prebuilt from some prebuilt enthusiast machines from outerspace

It's all in good fun mate.

I'm not too bothered if the computer gets built in the end or not. It's interesting to see different people's views on how £3000 could be spent on a computer.
