That'll be because Singapore is first and foremost a police state which is somewhat easier to administrate when you only need to focus on one city. I have no interest in losing all my rights just so I can pretend that the elites aren't still snorting massive lines every other day.
Make cannabis a Class A Drug, say Conservative Police Commissioners...

This is the way. By letting stupid folks kill themselves sooner, we help reduce overcrowding while raising more money for services. All drug users should have to pay for medical treatment too.

That could end up by normal people may be scared to leave the house. Might turn into a zombie apocalypse.
If they do the same for alcohol can you imagine how much additional revenue the NHS would have. Decent idea tbh.

Very different part of the world Singapore, to numerous other areas.
Most other police states across the world have issues with drugs one way or another.
Shall we do the same for Speeders, petty theft, break and entering, common assault and controlling and coercive behaviour too?
If not, I'd love to know why.

It should have the same classification as alcohol - if not lower.
Such a divisive smell. Personally I really like the smell whilst my partner is indifferent to it usually but certain strains she flat out hates.
I do agree though. For something that has such a strong smell you do need to think about others though I feel that way about cannabis, cigarettes and vapes. Nothing worse than when you think you smell something nice and then you realise someone has just breathed out a cloud of vape.

Do it like Holland, give the smokers somewhere to go and chill out with a spliff. If anyone thinks that people enjoy hanging around in the freezing cold on a street corner somewhere, they're very wrong.
Everytime I visit Amsterdam I always do the same thing. I either sit in Greenhouse with a beautiful fried breakfast or Barneys uptown with a decent plate of food, some drinks and spliff/volcano. Sit consume and have a good time with friends. Then we look out the window and see people just going on about their daily business living their lives...
Then we just get stuck and think how is this possible yet in the UK it's treated so differently. It's so weird.

Easier than that.
National testing, anyone who gets a trace bigger than X (got to allow for passive actions) gets shot. No 2nd chance, all the assets can be seized to pay for the program and the bullets. We can then extend the program to other substances and target the bankers. Which to be fair are less likely to mug you on the corner of the street for your phone.
Happy to have a pass for the people who use CBD for medical reasons, but if they can found out dealing they still get shot. (entrapment is fine for this as a test as well)
