Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

Not sure why KR doesnt just use all his KERS at once to fly past Alonso then defend the position for the rest of the lap. On the recent graphic he was just using a little out of the corners.

Because KERS doenst actually give much of an advantage and is just a wate of time and money that makes the cars heavier....?

Maybe he's scared it'll overheat and melt the batteries again. :eek:

It doesnt make the cars heavier, they still weigh the same. It reduces the amount of ballast that can be placed around the car to adjust the car dependant on how heavy the driver is.

And KR gets past at last!

Well it's around 0.2 seconds boost per lap apparently, or was in Australia, so it's borderline useful. (for clearing those pesky back markers probably :p )
