Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

Oh hang on... If it stays dry, Button has an extra set of the softs, thats a full stint at a second a lap faster than anyone else....

Rain and fun, or dry with a Button win? Argh the choices!

Because KERS doenst actually give much of an advantage and is just a wate of time and money that makes the cars heavier....?

I've gotta disagree with you on that one.
KERS allows a slower car in front to defend successfully its position, from a faster car behind. I would certainly much prefer to have KERS in my car than not have it....unless my car is at least 0.5-1s/lap faster than the rest of the field, ie. BrawnGP cars. ;)

But the balance of the car is compromised under braking, as i told you months ago.

Yeah, it was more of a comment in Jest than fact.

It doesnt change the fact its been a massive expense for the teams developing it at a time when the FIA are trying to convince people they are cutting costs in F1 though...

Point proven by Alonso on the straight with Webber, if he hadn't outbraked himself he would have kept the position.

What happened at the start with Buttton I missed the first two laps, fell asleep.

I just though that kers is a bit silly as the teams can't develop them, so the technology wont move forward. They are limited to 6.6seconds a lap, 400kj. So they can't develop a bigger power boost, they wont develop a better charging system. So what exactly is the point?

Oh and change of rules good for over taking? where?, we are seeing the same as last year, super slow cars holding up super fast cars.

Lol at Alonso. Defending is not a strong point with him.

He's getting mugged.

Out of all the driver/cars on the field, Alonso is the only driver who is/was successfully holding back much faster cars behind him. I would say he is one of the best drivers when it comes to driving defensively. We saw this at Imola a few years back, when he defended against MS, who was about 2s/lap faster than him but couldnt get past.

yes hes worse than gavin henson in my books he took all the glory during his two championships and gave no credit to his team during them

Hardly, he was always singing Renaults praises during the win time.
There's been far worse that's happened in his career to dislike him, that's a flawed reason.

Far worse that's happened in other people's careers also. "Misleading" the stewards for example... :D
