Malaysian Grand Prix 2013, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

I don't want to see Horner, I want to put the camera back on Webber and Finger having a barny in the garage.

'Not quite sure what he means by that'

Well how about the interview you're giving now describing it as 'they took it into their own hands' when it was Vettel who decided he didn't want to play nicely as he was told?

I feel bad but not as bad as others for Nico, ultimately the team likely split the strategy, fueled one guy less expecting a bit of rain, and one a bit more for the dry but Hamilton did better throughout the race. Not quite sure though, ultimately if Hamilton hung further back from Vettel/Webber, pushed them less and saved fuel he'd likely not have needed to be as slow at the end. Was that the team not telling him, or Hamilton being unaware, I don't know.

It was actually quite good to see Hamilton wasn't happy about it either and isn't a win at all costs guy, the silly thing is, Rosberg feels like crap and Hamilton feels like crap, and they'd both be happy if they'd let Rosberg past, but again should Hamilton be punished for being in that position if its the team that decide to underfuel him, they could easily have done the strategy the other way, luck of the draw really. The bigger question is would they have let Hamilton past if the situation was reversed... even Red Bull told Vettel to stay back, so I would assume they would have told Hamilton to stay back as well.

Webber doesn't really have too much of the moral highground when he almost put Vettel into the wall.

Kinda hilarious end though, its also very possible that they've told Vettel to just go for it even if on the radio and as far as Webber knows, he's supposed to stay behind, then the "team" gets an excuse while secretly they are telling Vettel he can do what he wants.

Not a fan of the semi cheating pit with a lap or two to go and pretend you have a gearbox/other issue so you can change one for free.

Ultimately the worst thing about the race was once again, Hamilton gains on Webber or Vettel, hurts his tires, Vettel gains on Webber, hurts his tires, its discouraging overtaking and encouraging everyone to maintain a 3 second gap so they don't hurt tires.

Merc's DRS seems **** this year, made no difference at all throughout the race?

"Instructions were clear for all to hear and the drivers took it into their own hands."

Drivers? Which 'Drivers' were they Horner?

Come on, Horner's in love with his golden boy who can do no wrong, he's never going to say a bad word about the precious.

Rubbish, Webber defended hard for a good few laps. Vettel took him fair and square.

Defended hard for a few corners, but ultimately if he'd not slowed down because the team told him to, would Vettel have gotten that close?

The replays of Horner and Brawn on the pitlane while the drivers were overtaking each other was brilliant, both head in hands "wtf are you guys doing" look about them.

Was also hoping when asked about the pitstop Hamilton said something along the lines of "just wanted to check in with the guys, not seen them in a while", though his "I did a Button" was still a pretty damn good reply. I was trying to remember, which pit did Button stop in, I can honestly understand pitting into the Mclaren garage as he's done it for so long, did Button stop in pits that looked similar, or was it Ferrari's?

That's the difference between a winner and one of the losers.

Nailed in one. Schumacher, Alonso and Senna didn't/don't listen to team orders. Yes, they might be naughty c words, but they are winners. F1 is ruthless and whilst I can't agree with what Vettel did today, that is what separates the winners from the loosers.

Easiest way to get rid of, or at least seriously reduce team orders.

Remove the radio's in the cars. No way to communicate other than the pit board, and that's only one way.
