That's easy. Vettel believes he's indispensable, and frankly, he IS indispensable to RedBull. Lol, what would RB do, sack him? Not a chance in hell. Seb is boss for as long as he's driving well. He's already 3 times world champion, he's got nothing to lose. He's a racing driver, his racing instinct took over, plus he's young and enthusiastic. What he did wasn't right and he apologised in a press conference, but that apology is just to keep people happy, he doesn't really care because he was top of the podium.
Why would he obey team orders, fair play to him, as one or two others have said, it's a sign of an all time great driver. You never give up, you race to win and deal with the consequences latter.
Rosberg would have mullererd Hamilton. Awful cold sportsmanship from mercedes. What a horrid little team.

It all boils down to, if I ignored an order my boss gave me, whether I liked it or not, i'd be in trouble.
Finger has shown his arrogance today, and has lost a lot of respect in many peoples eyes.

Yes but the situation is the team told both drivers to slow down and turn the engine down, one did, Vettel passed a driver who had stopped racing. If the team simply never did that, Vettel might never have passed, or might have taken each other out, or ruined his tyres pushing hard, or both of them could have ruined their tyres pushing flat out for every remaining lap.
The sign of a great driver isn't needing the guy infront to turn his engine down before passing him, its not the sign of a poor driver, the simple situation is we don't know if he could have passed him if Webber hadn't stopped racing.
Totally irrelevant, this is f1, seems lots of people don't understand the sport.Yes but the situation is the team told both drivers to slow down and turn the engine down, one did, Vettel passed a driver who had stopped racing. Fantastic result. If Webber was actually quick enough to stay ahead he would've but Vettel's too good for him. Win a race and answer questions later is the kind of attitude that wins you championships. I hope he wins a fourth title by 6 points with this being the race that decided the title... just to rub it in![]()

Then in the 2 laps Vettel was all over the back of him, obviously looking to overtake, if Webber had wanted the win he should have turned the juice back up, broken team orders took the telling off and the 25 points.
Shouldn't laugh but...
Probably shouldn't mention that the 'German' he's referring to isn't German, but Austrian.
