You are right on the rest but I'm pretty sure I've got a wallet and change goes in one pocket internally so it isn't only purses. Simple and no noise from jangling coins.

if i needed to transport enough personal articles to nesecitate a bag, a man bag would be fine. Laptop goes in a sort of man bag but that only goes to work and back.

TBH keys, wallet, phones all pocketable.
