Awwwww! All is forgiven you cute bear!

I think it's fair to say that if a person is mentally handicapped to the degree that they will jump into a bear enclosure, then they probably need significantly more supervision than this guy was under.

I'm not saying we hospitalise them all but, you know, we don't want this sort of thing happening if they're all wandering about unsupervised making bad decisions like this.

You want to lock all mentally handicapped people in hospital :/

Where did you get the idea that I wanted All mentally handicapped people in hospital?

I blame his Doctor. a lot of the mentally handicapped people walking our streets are a danger to themselves and others. And bears, apparently.

If the bear had gotten out of its enclosure and been loose with the public, it would have been shot dead.. funny how we humans think so much more of ourselves !!!

Zoo is liable and totally their fault imho
A mentally handicapped person shouldn't just be able to hop over a wall into an enclosure containing a massive animal capable of killing in a matter of seconds!!

Of course your never gonna make it practically possible to stop an able-bodied person who is determined to get it but children and handicapped people as in this instance should find it extremely difficult if not impossible to get into an enclosure containing a dangerous animal!!

No, it is not their fault, these people should be acompanied at all times.

Would you let a child run around a zoo alone? no, the same goes for someone who is metaly handicapped enough not to grasp the danger of jumping into a bear enclosure.

Of course it is
If I was to build a pond in my garden and fill it with acid and some poor sod was walking on my wall and feel into it I would be legally responsible for their death and rightly so imo!
Why is this so different ??
