Manchester Meet-Up

I'll raise my 80% definate to 90% ;)
I'm happy to ride shotgun on the ideas, as long as we've got a rough idea on some roads i'm sure we can find any random pub along the way.

That's great news Coco :)

If everyone adds me to their MSN lists, I'll add you all and start a group convo in a couple of days. That way, everyone else can grab other peoples' addresses from the convo, and would save a lot of time giving the MSN addy out to lots of different people.

Looking forward to this meet even more... just hope I can get the time off work now  :p

Oh, Coco, cymatty knows some good routes, so we're leaving it up to him to make sure we don't get lost. :)

;) That could work, but as I work in a pub on Sunday I can just get someone else to cover my shift for me. I could just not turn up at all as I plan to leave in the next few months anyway, heh.

Oh, just heard from Braeden. He's good to go, so that's 6 of us so far, with a possible 7.

This is getting better by the minute, if you want if i have time i can go for a drive over the route and take pics of the route, places to stop and chat and places to eat if you want, as i need to go anyway so i remember the roads so i dont get lost. :D

Could be a good idea, don't take too much time out though, remember we still need to decided which side of the motorway to meet on!

Sounds grand to me, just awaiting the hopeful high activity tonight after my shameless e-mail marketing campaign :p

Yes i menat to thank you for the help in drumming up support for the meet.

One question if there are say 10 people coming and we all go for something to eat do you think it will be better to book somewhere as there arent that many places near the route to eat, and being sunday dinner it may be busy?

Ps did you mail Gilly he live in yorkshire depending upon where in yorkshire it may be close?

Booking a meal sounds like a good idea. Of course, we would have to get a good indication of how many people would be turning up.

What kind of place are you thinking of?

Just a pub lunch type thing not to expensive, its just that sundays are busy and i dont fancy just turning up saying table for 10. :D

Ps i can take pics of the palce and menu when i go for mmy pre trip trip. :)
