I'd have thought recalling C3PO being entirely gold but then him clearly having one silver leg is an example of Mandela effect, no?

Happy to be wrong about it if it doesn't satisfy the criteria though.

I stand corrected.

The C-3PO Mandela Effect centers on the memory that the character was entirely gold, whereas the original Star Wars trilogy featured a distinctly silver right leg. A bit of an adjacent one but then there is the sentry gun scenes from Aliens. Though personally I think they must have accidentally shipped a version of the movie to some theatres with the scenes included rather than people necessarily getting things mixed up - I remember people talking about them when I was a kid who definitely had only ever seen the movie at the cinema at that point.
