Mandela effect

That's not a Mandela Effect though.

Got to admit I was asked the Moonraker Jaws question about 10 years ago and I said borh of them had metal braces.
I'd have thought recalling C3PO being entirely gold but then him clearly having one silver leg is an example of Mandela effect, no?

Happy to be wrong about it if it doesn't satisfy the criteria though.

I stand corrected.

The C-3PO Mandela Effect centers on the memory that the character was entirely gold, whereas the original Star Wars trilogy featured a distinctly silver right leg. Many fans recall an all-gold droid, while current films and original, higher-resolution footage show the silver, reflective leg, causing widespread debate over whether the memory is faulty or a reality shift.

I recall reading into the Moonraker one a while back. I think the braces were edited out digitally from later releases to avoid her appearing too young. I have the VHS at my parents house that I keep meaning to check.
Check plz :p

A bit of an adjacent one but then there is the sentry gun scenes from Aliens. Though personally I think they must have accidentally shipped a version of the movie to some theatres with the scenes included rather than people necessarily getting things mixed up - I remember people talking about them when I was a kid who definitely had only ever seen the movie at the cinema at that point.

The Fleetwood Mac Album cover for Rumors, Mick is holding a ball, not Stevie's hand - tenuous at best i know :D

I've had that album since day of release and the only thing i saw was what was hanging from his crotch.

My main false memory is thinking that Kirby is a Pokemon character. The first I knew of the pocket monsters was from Super Smash Bros on the N64 in late 1999 or early 2000. Pikachu and Kirby were playable characters from the get-go, and after completing the game in single player mode, Jigglypuff also becomes playable. So as the 3 characters are all rounded sprightly and brightly colourful monsters, I thought they were all Pokemon. It took me until about 2015 to realise that Kirby was its own franchise.

Found it, only took 2 minutes. Just over a minute into the video

With this one, I remember the intro starting at 2:09 where it slowly spells out D.. V.. D.. then the fairy appears at 2:19. I remember this intro specific to Disney DVDs that I had in the mid-2000s. So surely that fairy is Tinkerbell? Fairy with a blonde hair bun, short green dress and shoes with the white pom-poms?

Yes. People get confused with other competitor brands such as golden wonder. Golden Wonder has it right btw.

I also remembered (mis-remembered) the green and blue packets switching colours on Walkers crisps. And yes after a Google, it transpired that Golden Wonder had it one way round and Walkers the other way round and people thinking it was Walkers all along. One thing clear though is that ready salted has always been red.
