I have no idea what’s going on with Marilyn Manson, but I do know that his appearance is contrived. He’s a very good businessman.

Surely that goes the other way and those that believe accusers with no actual knowledge? We've just seen a very high profile case of one being shown to be an absolute liar and well...so is one of mansons accusers.

Yes we've seen one case. Now every accuser is a liar? I have no idea about this case, I don't care. I just find it very odd that someone starts a thread where they talk about a celebrity like they are his mate and he knows he's innocent because they go back years. Like I said what an odd hill to choose to die on.

No-one has said every accuser is a liar. However some are. So to believe someone just because they make a claim is stupid. He's innocent because he hasn't been proven guilty. A perfectly reasonable hill to die on if you believe in a fair justice system.

Jimmy Saville was never proven guilty. Yes there are women that lie, is the Depp case going to be bought up every time a women accuses someone? Like I said I don't know a thing about this case but the OP responses are just odd. He has no idea really if he or she is lying and if Manson does abuse women.

No I don't but I'm not starting a thread telling the world (this forum) that someone is innocent in the way the OP is. As someone else said its fandom gone mad. It reminds me of football fans who jump to the defence of a player that plays for their team when accused of something when they have no idea if they did it or even worse when their is evidence they did do it but they still jump to their defence. Like I said its just odd.

He's basing it upon the evidence and details available. They seem to have been reinforced with the most recent revelations.
His thoughts and belief are harming no one.

I've been posting/following this since the moment evan named him, and i instantly thought something was wrong due to her previous comments, and since then soe awesome sites on instagram collected mountains of evidence that was continually ignored by the media because they didn't want to run w/ that story. Manson's posted a link to the court docs on his page, all 28 pages of it [!] and holy ****, it's just way beyond even the stuff i knew about; turns out they impersonated FBI officers and hacked stuff and allsorts in their campaign to try and destroy him.

can only hope that this not just vindicates Manson and puts those skanks away for a long, long time, but it effects changes in the law that will prevent this/Depp stuff happening to anyone else.

Not using paragraphs is distressing tbh, never mind Marilyn. Just saying.

I've not said you've done either of those things. It's my belief, your belief is misguided and he's entitled to his fact based opinion.

I'm also not clear on your obsession that it's somehow a hill he's dying on. Bit weird to keep banging on about that tbh.

i've said many times we didn't just "jump to his defence". from her first statements things sounded wrong so people looked into it. all the evidence is there - pages and pages of it, literally. past interviews, postings, timelines. go read it and make your own mind up. or maybe don't just jump in a thread making sly accusations that his defenders are just blind fanboys who refuse to think anyhting bad of him.

I posted one post where I said that so until you wanted to discuss it so I'm hardly banging on about it am I and now I'm the one obsessed. Christ I open a thread as I hadn't read or heard anything about the subject, read the first few posts, think this is odd, the OP is talking like he's a friend or super fan of Manson and make a comment on what I consider to be an odd style. And have I read this correctly? This is just ONE of multiple accusations from women of abuse? If so again an even weirder hill to die on. I wouldn't be going near it if I had a friend who had multiple women claiming he'd abused them but hey that's me.

Let’s start with baby steps. Since you have read up on the woman who has clearly made false accusation (I assume you have done so since you have chosen this hill to die on) do you agree that such accusations are wrong? Not only wrong but extremely damaging to actual victims?

I don't see any similarities between this and Depp. It seems like a lot of ex-partners are calling him out for abuse.

Either way, that's for a court / jury to decide. If it's true, I hope he goes the same way as Weinstein and Epstein.

And since then you've repeated it. If you've bothered to read before jumping down the guys throat you'd have noted that this accuser and the others seem to be in communication and they had pressured her to make this false accusation.
