I’m getting strong depp/heard vibes from this. Not in terms of guilt or innocence but in the amount of objectively sad melts online who are going to attach themselves to this trial the way they did the depp and heard trial.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought there was just one person accusing Depp of abuse? Here there looks to be around 10 people accusing Manson, you're saying they are all friends? citation required. So unless there were numerous claims made against Depp then the cases are nothing alike. If memory serves most of Depp's ex girlfriends said he had substance problems but wasn't abusive.

The claims are all historic and date from 20 to about 10 years ago. Why have they all appeared at once? It's already cited in this thread that the liar is in a friendship group with at least 2 other accusers.

Because this is how it Starts. People think they are either the only ones it has happened to or they are the reason it is happening. Then someone says something and everyone else that also thought it was just them also start to speak up. Epstien, Weiner et al.

Some, less perhaps naive and charitable than your good self, would describe these historic claims as jumping on the band wagon, or even the gravy train, in the hope of some "compo". These claimants never seem to bring a case based on their alleged moral outrage and psychological damage or whatever the flavour of the moment is, against the impecunious. Which might lead one to suspect their real goal is pecuniary.

But they were actually guilty, and often when the perpetrator is well known/famous/etc it's harder for the victims to say something (because people may not believe them and see them....chasing money) so when people come together with claims it can be effective.

That said, some people of course lie and of course do manipulate the system and people for whatever reason...

Interestingly, it does seem that when it comes to these type of cases, if the perpetrator is male and the victim is female then innocent until proven guilty goes out the window and the guy 'must' be guilty.

in this case they went hunting for people to join in their story. they used one of his ex-assistants to get address lists of his contacts, ex girfriends etc and planned all their stories together, which was also admitted in texts. they had checklists to make sure they all used the same buzzwords and storylines. it first started breaking when they tried to recruit one ex and she told them to GTFO because her experience was nothing like that, and she was one of the first to put up youtube vids calling the BS. Most of the others who made statements either shut up after bandwagon-jumping and/or vanished after being discredited. evan then used this fake story, and her forged FBI document, as an excuse to keep her kid from his father, who is fighting for custody because she moved states unannounced and won't let him see him. her playmate in this is illma gore, serial grifter who has defrauded her own family by forging identities, and ran a campaign to raise money for charity, which she then kept for herself.

and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Someone told me that there was a documentary on the TV about Sir Richard's appallingly handled case, and were it not for his wealth he could still be in Limbo with regards defending his innocence. It was on the very morning of the trial date that the police finally telephoned to say they were dropping it.

The same police commonly believed to have informed the BBC of an impending search of his Portuguese villa, which he readily agreed to whilst not even in the country. The BBC even had time before the search to hire a helicopter to film the search from above and relay it on their networks, live

The little **** who brought the specious charges seems to have gotten away lightly after causing totally unjustified grief, expense untold stress, and the waste of police time. Albeit wasting police time is something they're very capable of doing themselves, in house.

All whilst the ludicrous tales of being "abused" in a none existent and easily verified as such from the start, football club room, by the incompetent (at best..., being generous) police.

You and Chris Wilson clearly have issues with women. You just can't see it from any other perspective than women are lying. No one is saying he's guilty but you've clearly already decided he's innocent of all the accusations and all the women are colluding to take him down/take his money or what ever you think their motivation is.

that genuinely made me laugh. See I'm open minded to him being innocent or guilty, just because one of his accusers may have lied doesn't mean they all have. You think because some women have made false accusations about other men or Manson all women make false accusations. If you can't see that that is a problem I can't help you.

I balanced my alleged issue with women by posting an example of a male trying to get compo from a very wealthy self admitted homosexual celebrity using blatant lies and a gullible police force... Prior to your specious accusation. I don't have an issue with women because I'm savvy enough not to give them any opportunities to rip me off. Sad as the modern situation with them dictates.

Does it dictate that? Maybe you are attracted to the wrong personality types as I've not had any partner try and rip me off. In my experience they are a small minority.

It's got to that point where it's just arguing for the sake of it. No one thinks that:

He's guilty
He's innocent
All women just try to frame men and get money
All women are genuine

Yet here we are...
