That hasn't worked out to bad for button. 8th place and more than likely an extremely full fuel tank.

is button now on the same fuel as leaders or is he going for a very short final stint on super softs?

short last stint, he still had 6 or 7 laps more fuel. Then put in 9.4 seconds of fuel. The leaders came in a few laps earlier and put in about 9 seconds. So he should have at least 8 laps more than the leaders.
