So got two on the go currently.

Still loads more to do on both (all the tones other than the black for the top one (but the blackw as most the hard work on that) & still 70% to do on the second .

I'll try to get a better picture tomorrow (artificial light makes everything look horrible) - let me know if you are happy with it, if not I can do one for the other reference instead.

Rabbits almost done , but ran out of one of my greys so will be grabbing one after work tomorrow to finish that one next

Right I'll take the Louis Armstrong if you can do it in A3? How much would you consider a fair contribution?

Do you have a specific reference picture you want?, as some work better/worse pending on the lighting? - yeah I've still got a load of A3 paper (It's A4 I'm out of now!).

To give time taken, usually A3 ones take between 3 and 4 hours, material costs (paper/ink/poster-tubes) & postage/packaging/recorded delivery is about £8-ish which I'm covering for each one (my part of the donation) - if I just did overtime at work for those hours I'd charge them about £120 - but I don't expect anything near that much lol.

So I'll let you decide as I'm not selling, it's a gift in return for a donation technically - but the above should give you something to work with. , for a definitive request I'll show you a WIP one mid-way to confirm you want it (as will take a while & better to scrap it early).

The first two look good, (high quality) the first I think has slightly better lighting for my style - but if no rush you can drop us a few stills which you think your good lady would like I'll have a play in photo-shop (play with the brightness contrast).

Also, if you want it A3 or A4 - landscape or portrait (I'll have a look at different paper sizes too).

Post 107 has the final work, but not a good picture which I'll be retaking tonight.

Cheers for the donation maccapacca - much appreciated & a nice amount, that puts us to £210.00 of £500.00.

Columbo & Louis Armstrong will be done as soon as my new black markers arrive (both ran out finishing off the last one so ordered a 6 pack) - hopefully today or tomorrow they will get here - along with a couple more flesh colour pens (so I should be able to attempt another face in colour) along with full slate blue scale (light to dark) - so soon I'll be able to have the option of picking a scale (blue/brown etc), monochrome or full colour soonish.

Okey dokey - cheers for the donation, if the new pens arrive today/tomorrow I should be able to get it all done & drawn then posted over this weekend.

Just to double check, A3 same picture as before (this one will be a bit darker with more tones (as back then I had less colours, but it will most certainly be better as I'm used to the medium now)

Okey doke - don't have my trust account at home but I'll take a looksy when I get back to work - black pens didn't arrive today annoyingly (stupid amazon late delivery!).

Feel free to drop a link to the reference picture you have in mind on here so I can do some prep while I wait for my new artist pens to arrive .

But managed to post all of those which I had done previously.

To pass the time did a quick Columbo sketch (about 25mins) to get the feel for it.

These are fantastic, Mark! What size donation would you recommend for a A3 picture?

Around £40 (or higher if you are feeling generous) for an A3 about, as they take about 3.5 hours & cost about £8 in postage/materials(ink mostly)/poster-tubes which I cover for each one.

I prefer to do immature boy stuff (Like the Jessica Alba one (Sin City style) space marines or other fantasy characters) but I'm open for requests on pretty much anything.

The only thing I'd prefer to avoid doing now are children (already had about 4 requests for them from people at work which I'll have to do) - as they are frankly incredibly boring to do lol.

Glad you like it, it's amazing the difference having 2 extra tones to work with makes! (in regards to extra detail) (only had black & 2 shades when I did the A4 version) - A3 is black & 4 tones (I do have 5 grey scale pens, but shades 1 & 2 are too similar to notice the difference!).

Thanks, it was more that it was a great choice of subject by maccapacca for the style I think - some lend very well the minimalist high contrast style others not so much.

Got a few in progress I'll be starting over the weekend a couple of requests on here along with,

Want to do a Cherry Darling one (with machine gun leg! - all grey scale but with red lips).

Also working on,

(which is going to be allot of fun doing!)
