US: Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (US timeline) *spoilers*

Kinda felt like an anti climax to the whole city story, was expecting a little more than an old dusty temple and the father to do nothing particularly special. I know it hasn't come to a complete conclusion as of yet, but still. I wanted more. :)

Think you might be mis-interpreting the 'anti-climax'. It was theoretically an Avenger origin story that will link in with the rest of the MCU movies and including her father a supervillain. It also wasn't the end to that story, read up on the Inhumans and where the rest of the season is going ;)

^That. Between the name they dropped and the powers she displayed It seems they just set Skye up as being a certain canon Shield agent and we get our first inhumans.

And yes Mac would have been a fantastic Cage, Terry Crews is still my top pick but they guy they actually did pick isn't too far off.

No i get that, I just wanted it to be a bit more impressive, but I suppose maybe the budget was blown in keeping the series interesting, throughout rather than a big finale. Can't have everything I suppose.

I doubt Whitehall is dead, he went down too easy.

Really good episode apart from dumbass Trip kicking the big glowy alien tech he thought was killing them all lol.

So Skye turns into someone who seems to have some kind of telekinetic powers or something, and Raina turns into some weird cat creature with spikes?

Someone got a bad deal there.

I guess it was only a nerdgasm for people who are familiar with the comic canon.

Google Daisy Johnson and Calvin Zabo. Oh, and terrigen crystals.

Not sure about Raina though.

I dunno, i pretty much had a nerdgasm at the ending and i haven't read a single comic on it. The show is getting better and better.

The only comics i remember ever reading were beano, dandy and some comic/annuals with a mutant soldier.

You would have had multiple nerdgasms then if you had been following the comics :D

Just caught up on the latest couple of eps. Straight back into the action, very good. Though I had a hard time seeing Eddie McClintock as anyone but Pete Lattimer!

No organisation in the comics universe that goes by that name but, though there are a number of things the "real SHIELD" could be slotting in for:
(Comic books spoilers that might mean nothing to the series ahead)
There was a storyline where after Nick Fury was publicly disgraced Maria Hill became Director of Shield for a while and after she failed spectacularly gave the role to Tony Stark (could fit given MCU Maria Hill already works for Stark)
It could be HAMMER (basically SHIELD rebranded under Norman Osbourne, unlikely to be Osbourne here of course but Edward James Olmos' character could be filling that roll)
There was also a storyline where Fury ran his own off the books team lead by Daisy Johnson aka Quake apparently now aka Skye in the face of massive Hydra corruption in SHIELD that ran around this time, there's certainly elements of this in Coulson's team.
STRIKE (but If I remember right they used this name for Rumlow's team in the winter Soldier)
SWORD (though their domain in the comics is soley space based threats).

Baring in mind that they haven't really done direct adapations of any particular storyline in the MCU so far I'm expecting it to be elements of the first 3 myself.

The British merc chap has got the most annoying accent! I won't shed any tears if he was to leave the show.

Most annoying accent has to go to Simmons and her over the top Mary Poppins accent she puts on.

Also does anyone else think her eyebrows look odd? Just noticed in the last couple of episodes and cant unsee it now.
