Mass Effect 2 Review

It took me three attempts at ME1 before I "got it". First two times I gave up on Eden Prime as it all seemed a load of drivel. But on the third go I reached the Citadel and from the firefight with Fist in Chora's Den I couldn't stop playing. I look upon the game as being in my top 5 of all time now.

I played through the game twice since Christmas and I can honestly say that on each playthrough I suffered less than a handful of bad framerate drops each time.

I really wished I had played it sooner, one of the best games I've played in years.

Picked up the collecters edition today so looking forward to getting home and playing.

Only problem is that my ME1 character is only level 48 and just starting a second playthrough (played a second time but couldn't find how to use the first character so previously started from scratch

).

I understand that I can get a better starting boost for a level 50 character. Anyone know how much better (i.e. is it worth playing the whole game again just for the extra) ?.

I seriously doubt it's hugely beneficial m8 as there will no doubt be loads of people who play this who haven't played the first and Bioware won't want to ruin their experience just because they never played the first one.

Yeah possibly, just interested what the difference in starting resources is between the levels.

I have been told that under level 50 gives 100,000 cr extra and some resources for research.

Just start again with your 48 character. It won't take too long to get to 50. Just start a new game then select existing ID, can do it on casual since there isn't a xp penalty for difficulty.

Just finished my final play through of ME1 last night to transfer over and I made sure that I did absolutely everything there was to do, but my god was it boring

I had to force myself through it so that I made the correct decisions for my character, all I can say is never again

I think 8 or 9 play throughs is enough when the biotics in this game are so broken.

I'm just glad they've been nerf'd and rebalanced for ME2.

Has anyone received this on the 360 yet? I think there is a slim chance mine may arrive tomorrow (Thursday).
I thought there was a fixed release date for the game, yet tons of peeps seem to have got the game way early before release on both platforms?

Did you read what I posted the page before?

I've always had everything that I've pre ordered from there on time, I think they actually ship the item out and put posted the day after to make them look better.

never ever had anything late on super saver delivery.

but if you do get it late, then it must only be me.

Yeah i did didnt take me long found it easier than first time tend do with any game if ya finish it once all ready though, Just glad i can import the character over as every were ive read says you get better experince from the game if you do.
