Mass Effect 2 Review

Holy wow installing the game to the hard drive makes a massive difference. Upgraded to a 250gb hard drive from a 20Gb today, so obviously i tried installing games to the hard drive. The loading times are really reduced, especially the annoying ones going between levels on the Normandy.

Much much better experience with it installed. (Sorry to bump the thread, just had to say! :D)

Dragon age is miles deeper than this :) ME2 is relatively short as was ME1 if you just look at the main plot quests. ME2 took me 39hrs and I was taking my time.

DA took me close to two weeks and it has replayability. Can't say the same for ME2 thanks to the boring planet scanning lark.
 
So, is it worth registering my Cerberus network code? When I started playing I jsut jumpted straight in, cause I couldn't be bothered with registering with EA, or trying to remember if I had an account with them already.

Is the added content that good?
 
It is pretty good, especially for free. They added stuff recently too, so hopefully they will keep that up.

The Normandy crash site and Zaeed content is great imo.
 
Anyone else disappointed that they nerfed the sex scenes now that some of the totty is finally half decent? :p

In the original you got to see shed loads of big nose and blue boobs yet in this all i got was some frikkin bra! My epeen was greatly disappointed.
 
Yeah I agree, I thought it was just getting going and the best I get is to see a bit of bra?! Useless.
 
I'm still trying to work out how the hell Sheppard can have a giant statue in his pants, which he places at the Normandy crash site! When that thing came out I was laughing my rear end off.
 
Well just finished it awesome awesome game thou doubt ill play it again as well im too lazy to scan :P but was best sp game ive played in a long long time.

Thou the boss if you want to call it that was very lame! Zaaed also died on my suicide mission but oh well i can only assume its because i ballsed up his mission and didnt get him loyal but rest of my squad was.

Zaaed was rubbish anyway, hated him.

That is what annoyed me about ME2 - I couldn't care for most of the characters unlike ME1 because you spend little time with them. Running around in the original Citadel allowed you to listen in on your two squaddies conversations/bickering. There's hardly any of that in ME2.

Thane, Zaeed, Jacob, Jack - I couldn't care if they died at the end or not :)
 
Thane!?! Heathen! He was well worth talking to in the ship, lots of interesting back story and information about the Drell as a race.
